We have had the pleasure of working with John and his team on several occasions. The first one was when our company was very young and we needed help and oversight to build our first restaurant. At that time, we needed help in every aspect of the project. Visioning, providing advice, stick handling all our questions and getting our ideas into a professionally presented plan. Not only that but we needed a team that could the restaurant. And they did. And now, 12 years later we have a successful restaurant business that has been successful in a very large part due to John and his team. In our next project we worked on together we needed to renovate an old pub that needed a restoration. We had more experience as an ownership group and knew a little bit, which is to say John had to deal with our ego’s and desires and our attempts to explain how we thought we knew best. Again, John listened and delivered an exciting plan and then carried onto to oversee the renovation of an iconic gulf island pub. Since that time, we have worked with him on different sized projects and some in remote areas. In all projects John and his team listened to us, considered options, offered solutions, modified as he went and then delivered the construction of the project when required. We would have no issues in recommending John and his team for any project big or small.

EDDA is based in Greater Victoria and works throughout Vancouver Island, including Victoria, Saanich, Oak Bay, Esquimalt, Sidney, Langford, Colwood, and Sooke, with project experience across Canada.
Design-build is a delivery method where one firm holds both the design and construction contracts. It removes the handoff between architect and contractor, which is where most cost overruns and schedule slips begin. EDDA delivers projects design-build by default.
